ORDERS AND SHIPPING

How long until my order ships?
Orders leave within two business days. You will get a tracking number by email
the moment it does.

How much is shipping?
Flat rate within the US. Free on orders over $50.

Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We are working on it — join the slow list and you will hear first.

My tracking has not moved in a few days.
Carrier scans go quiet sometimes, especially over a weekend. If it has not moved
in five business days, email us and we will chase it.

PRODUCTS

How long does a bar of soap last?
Four to six weeks with daily use, if you let it dry out between showers. A bar
left sitting in water will not last a month. A draining dish doubles its life.

Why does my soap look slightly different from the photo?
Because it is cut by hand from a poured loaf. Colour and swirl vary a little
batch to batch. The weight does not.

Is any of this safe for sensitive skin?
Most of it, but patch test first — inner arm, twenty-four hours. Slumber, Oat
Milk & Honey and Raw Shea Butter are the gentlest things we make. If you have a
known allergy, read the full ingredient list on the product page before ordering.

Can I use the Peppermint Coffee Scrub on my face?
It is formulated for the body. The coffee grind is coarse. If you want to use it
on your face, go very light and avoid the eye area — or use the Dead Sea Mud
Mask instead, which is made for it.

Why beef tallow?
Because it is close in structure to the oils skin already produces, so it
absorbs rather than sits. Ours is grass-fed and rendered clean. It is not for
everyone, and if you would rather not, our shea and plant-oil products do the
same job.

My tallow cream has gone soft.
Tallow softens above 85°F. That is normal and does not harm it. Stir it gently
and put it somewhere cool — or in the fridge for twenty minutes — and it firms
back up.

How long do products last once opened?
Scrubs are best used within fourteen days of opening because they contain no
preservatives and live in a wet room. Bars, butters and creams keep for twelve
months if stored cool and dry.

Are your products vegan?
The soaps, scrubs, butters and mud mask are plant-based. The tallow line is not,
and the Oat Milk & Honey bar contains honey. Every product page lists its full
ingredients.

RETURNS

Something arrived damaged.
Send us a photo within seven days and we will replace it or refund it, your
choice. You do not need to send the broken one back.

Can I return something I just did not like?
Unopened, within thirty days, yes. Opened personal care products we cannot
resell, so those we handle case by case — email us and we will sort it out.

WHOLESALE AND CUSTOM

Do you do wholesale?
Yes, for shops and studios. Minimums are low. Email contact@salveandsuds.com
with what you are thinking and we will send the sheet.

Can you make something custom for an event?
Sometimes, depending on the run size and how far out it is. Ask.
